It is not easy to post a sunshine photo in the face of terrible weather events. My thoughts are with the many victims of the environmental disaster.

In the distance, one of our destinations the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Montenero.
The three-aisled church of Our Lady of Montenero is mentioned for the first time in 1335 and is the result of buildings completed around 800, unfortunately all of them cannot be visited, so we continue on the path and across bridges

Virgin Olive Oil
A limited quantity of this olive oil is produced. The olives are supplied by the farmers who cultivate within the area of the Cinque Terre National Park.
It preserves all the peculiarities of the olives grown on the terraces of the Cinque Terre and represents the century-old tradition of oil production of this area.

The paths are basically very well maintained ,as you can see here fallen trees are divided and cleared away.
Otherwise, there are on these paths mostly views that are unique, a view through foliage in the distance or in the depths to a vineyard.

In the cork oak forests of qinqueTerre.
The most important cork oak forests in the world are found in Portugal, Spain, Southern France, Italy and North Africa. The microclimate and soil types of these regions, allow the cork oaks to grow and flourish here, which serve as a source of raw materials for the cork industry.
Today, more than half of the world's cork raw material comes from Portugal. Cork trees are also grown in some other areas of the world, but cork harvested from the Mediterranean region is the only one of a quality suitable for the production of natural cork.
Cork oaks are important for the fauna and flora of the regions where they grow and they are a source of renewable raw material.
The cork oaks are also self-sustaining. Many forest fires devastated the Mediterranean regions over the years to the extent of thousands of hectares , pine trees , olive groves , eucalyptus trees and vineyards burned , requiring years of recovery .
Cork oak forests are not immune to massive fire. The massive fires, usually do not destroy the cork oaks, Mother Nature has equipped the cork oaks with fire resistant bark, which protects the trees from total destruction, thanks to the protective cork bark and return to full growth in a very short time. The insulating effect of cork and its protective properties can not be better illustrated?

View of La Spezia from Castello San Giorgio
The Castello San Giorgio, named after St. George, is a military fortification on the hills of the city.
The castle preserved its medieval structure until the middle of the 15th century, when the introduction of artillery forced the construction of new walls of great thickness, although of lesser constructive accuracy, with a steep profile and marked by slots for firearms for.

Start in La Spezia a city in the region of Liguria and capital of the eponymous province of La Spezia. With 93,288 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2019), La Spezia is the second largest municipality in the region, after the regional capital Genoa.
The city is located at the eastern end of the Riviera di Levante and the Liguria region, a few kilometres from the regional border with Tuscany, and a small section of La Spezia's territory (the settlement of Tramonti) is part of the Cinque Terre National Park.
Fountain of dialogue
which was inaugurated in 2002, symbolises a natural spring fed by bubbling sea water.
The composition of the fountain consists of a water platform designed to house the work of the sculptor who, in abstract forms, has created two large sails that swell and curve in the wind. The radiant white of the Carrara marble, give the entire architectural composition a calm and tranquil atmosphere, with a refined balance between warm and cool tones.
La Fontana del Dialogo, evokes the sea , as a generating force, a source of constant movement .

Hiking in the Cinque Terre
on foot on the trails of the Cinque Terre and explore this beautiful area from La Spezia to Levanto. .
Cinque Terre ( Five Lands or Five Villages) is the name given to an approximately twelve kilometer long, climatically favorable coastal strip on the Italian Riviera between Punta Mesco and Punta di Montenero northwest of La Spezia in Liguria. From northwest to southeast, the five villages of Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore line up along the steeply sloping coast.
The region has about 7000 inhabitants and is protected as a national park where no construction or alteration is allowed. In 1997, the Cinque Terre was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

MM Cleaning
Vinegar as an organic cleaning agent - an effective, efficient and gentle alternative to expensive special cleaning agents!
Vinegar not only gives many dishes their flavour and the right consistency, but vinegar is also a miracle agent that can be used to clean and descale many things in the household without any problems. It was discovered centuries ago as an effective cleaning agent.
It can be used in many ways, because vinegar can dissolve grease, limescale and rust, have a disinfecting effect against bacteria and germs and ensure a radiant shine throughout the household.
Happy cleaning with as organic cleaning agents as possible :-)

HFF from the Aare Gorge
The Aare Gorge lies between the villages of Meiringen and Innertkirchen in the Haslital. It is 1.4 kilometres long and up to 200 metres deep. For over a hundred years, it has been easy to walk through on safe footbridges and through tunnels. This hike is a very special experience of nature.
wish you all a healthy virus-free weekend
