today I'm busy as an apple pecker in the garden :-) and in the kitchen immediately follows the processing to applesauce mmmmhhhhhhhhh !!! I had to pass this pool again why you see the next picture. the colors are just enormously fascinating !!

On the grounds are located next to the thermal springs and geysers numerous mud pots this is something for everyone who loves fango baths or wraps ;-))

The most famous of the geysers in the Pohuto area breaks out almost every hour and hurls water up to 30 meters, but mostly less.

The area consists of approximately 500 outlets, most thermal springs with alkaline, chloride-containing water or mud pots and at least 65 geysers, seven of which are currently active. Most of the currently active geysers in Whakarewarewa are on a small scale, the Geyser Flat, on a common fault. They form a complex system of interacting geysers.

Geyser Flat Whakarewarewa a geothermal field, at the same time a Maori community. Te Whakarewarewatanga O Te Ope Taua A Wahiao translates to: the meeting place for the military campaigns of Wahiao.
