The tram of Turin is one of the main carriers of public transport.
Turin has the oldest tram network in Italy, the first horse-drawn trams were in operation as early as 1871.
The tram network is served by 9 lines.
The vehicle fleet is one of the most diverse in the world. Trains with valuable historical vehicles, such as this motor coach built between 1958 and 1960, assembled with coaches from the 1930s and restored and modernised in the 1980s, are in regular service.

Wie erstaunlich, dass diese Straßenbahnen oft mit älteren Wagen verbunden sind. Warum aber nicht? Es macht keinen Sinn, ältere Straßenbahnen usw. wegzuwerfen, nur weil sie alt sind. Es ist so schön zu sehen, dass diese Straßenbahnen immer noch benutzt werden.
