Scotland St. Cuthbert's Way (PiP)

Scotland St. Cuthbert's Way (PiP)
The Cheviot Hills consist of a series of hills located on the English-Scottish border of Northumberland and Scottish Borders.
The hills are part of the southern highlands, because the Pennine Way runs through the region, they are considered part of the northern Pennines.

The Cheviot Hills were formed in geological activity about 480 to 360 million years ago.

In the southern part of Cheviots is the Otterburn Training Area of the British Army, where about 30,000 soldiers are trained annually.
