Morebattle Parish Church
The church of Mereboda has been in the possession of the diocese of Glasgow since 1116. The building was burnt down and rebuilt in 1544; the present structure dates from 1757, extensions from 1899 and 1903. It has an elongated floor plan, with a sanctuary, veranda and sacristy that look like extensions.
The parish church of Morebattle is a destination on the pilgrimage to St. Cuthbert.
