The parent company of the reform medal of the Cistercians has been created around 1100 in the Burgundian Clairvaux. The medal was more tight and was organized more centrally than other Monk medals. The Cistercians transmitted the architectural forms property, also elements of the early Gothic , and distributed them rapidly about about the whole West.
