78 Hyles dahli Larvae Feeding

As Euphorbiae are quite poisonous, the prominently marked larvae were quite openly feeding in the sun, unafraid of predators. See more pictures, including the adult moths, at the end of our Mallorca Moths album.

A number were collected to rear to adult, and the identification was later corrected by Martin Honey.
