We don't have any snow, but I did find some moss in my backyard. The low winter sun provided a pleasing illumination. For SSC: Green

A welcome visitor dropped in on our usually quiet backyard in January. An American Robin and seven of his friends visited us. This one never flew south as it is way too early to be looking for worms. We have had very little snow this winter but up the nearby mountain they have snow up to their armpits. For SSC Solitude. British Columbia near the 49th parallel.

One needle a week for a year and I lost 65 lbs (30 kilo). GLP-1 pen and needles. I needed the help and it worked for me. I also raised the GDP of Denmark; this stuff is not cheap. For SSC: Old, dilapidated, no longer usable.

The antenna is connecting the navigation system in my car to the GPS. It has been recalibrating for a while, trying to determine its location. For SSC - AI This antenna, located on top of my car, represents the multitude of AI and AI-related devices and sensors in my vehicle. This photo, taken by my smartphone, is a gateway into the AI universe.

For SSC - Out of focus abstract I used focus bracketing to choose this photo. I took several shots of scenes I thought would be of interest for this challenge. Each shot gave me 7 choices, in increasing amounts, of being out of focus to choose from.

I joined members of my camera club last night to try some astrophotography at Nancy Greene Lake. This was my last shot of the night. I used a red light to illuminate. The light was on a low setting, but the cumulative saturation effect was pleasing.
