Heritage Railway

Heritage Railway
January afternoon sun highlights a water tower and coaching stock at Minehead, a terminal on the West Somerset Railway which is the longest heritage railway in the country, After closure during the Beeching era it was reopened in stages starting in 1976 and now has regular services over 20.5 miles of track with another 2 miles to Norton Fitzwarren station and the main line conection available on special occasions,
A platform at Minehead is almost a 1/4 of a mile in length to accommodate holiday trains of the past to the resort.

Large Please.

Lovely and colourful and full of detail with lots to look at and enjoy. Quite a few of the lines and stations closed during the Beeching era are being restored to use, which is brilliant.

Very well captured Roger.
