Der Braune Segler lebt in Südostasien, Indien, Malaysia und Neuguinea.

Die Flügelfarbe kommt in Braun, Blau, Grün und teilweise Orange vor. Die weißen Flecken bestehen aus ungefärben Schuppen, die transparent sind. Der Segler legt seine Eier an Passifloraceae ab, die als Futter für die Raupen dient.

Dieser Schmetterling fliegt hoch über dem Wald um die Baumwipfel.
