Schönen Dank, Edna! Das war 2019 kurz vor knapp... Die meisten Brits in Stuttgart hatten schon gleich nach dem Brexit-Votum die deutsche Staatsbürgerschaft beantragt, da konnten sie ihre britische nämlich auch noch behalten.

Thanks very much, Rosa! At the time of that poster people had less than 3 months to do something about it but most Brits in our town had acted much earlier. It' a real pity so many people couldn't be bothered to vote when it counted.

I remember being in shock on the day that the Brexit vote was announced, and I still feel that a huge mistake was made at the time. We now have to make the best of a bad job, and I don't think we're being very successful. I also remember one of my grandsons blaming the 'old people'. I quickly put hi, right about that.
