An outstanding image Gudrun..........although it doesn't look like surfing weather at the time this was taken. I really like the moody sky and the snow capped peaks in the background. The sea looks rough, but still quite beautiful.

I really like the image in the PiP...............the view over the houses to the sea is amazing. The light is gorgeous and the details in the buildings are superb.

Thank you so much, Keith! There are about 15°C temperature difference between the two photos. This year plus temperatures with (later on) rain on ice, in the pano below minus 10... I'd have preferred the latter with it's clear skies!

Funny enough, really cold temperatures don't feel that cold when the air is clear. But +1 and humidity make you shiver;-)

Thanks very much, Rosa! The panorama is 10 years old, shot on an icy cold but wonderful day. This year we went to the same viewpoint and it was grey and extremely slippery as it had rained on the ice underneath- plus high winds;-) Thankfully on the beach it was still dry!
