Ich habe tatsächlich Dresden nicht erkannt, Gudrun, eine tolle Idee! Ich vermute, dass rechts die Hofkirche/Kathedrale zu sehen ist und daneben der Hausmannsturm???

Herzlichen Dank für all die Kommentare und Sternderl! Ich war länger weg von Ipernity als geplant und habe nach familiärem Umzugsstress noch dringend Urlaub gebraucht;-) In den nächsten Tagen und Wochen werde ich mich langsam wieder hier einfinden, aber bitte habt Verständnis dafür, dass es dauern wird und ich nicht alle eure seither geposteten Bilder besuchen kann.

Thanks very much for all your comments and favs! My absence from Ipernity has been longer than planned, an old parent moving house took ages and afterwards I needed a holiday;-)

Very interesting bokeh

Many thanks, m̌ ḫ! A number of Ipernity friends standing in a row with our tripods, producing lots of similar photos;-) So I thought I'd try something different...

Sounds like photographing in China :) There are often those SPOTS, and guides who take you there at exact times... and there are groups of photographers taking the same scene in tens of clicks....

An Icelandic guide once told us about Chinese groups: they want their buses to have darkly tinted windows because they are not interested in the landscape- they either sleep or use their phones. They only want to take photos from the usual Insta-hyped places, click, click, back in and on to the next place;-)

First of all, it is always somewhat problematic to generalise about any group. The Chinese, for example, constitute a very large group, so even a small percentage of people who do not fit a generalisation still represents a significant number of individuals.

That being said, we must also acknowledge that there are stereotypes which are widely observed within many nations. Stereotypes tend to be particularly strong in large countries with ancient cultures, such as China. It is almost a mystery why the Chinese often seem to seek out the largest and most famous, while overlooking the small and lesser-known. Given that Chinese characters can differ by only the smallest of details, one might expect Chinese culture to place great importance on such subtleties. Is this tendency unique to Mainland China, or would smaller Chinese communities, with less centralised control, be markedly different?

People of whatever nationality travelling abroad in groups somehow tend to confirm national stereotypes.Maybe because group members behaving in such a way are more noticable than the ones who don't.
