When I visited Bergen in 2014 it didn't rain once in 5 days. There goes another statistic! ;-)

In Stavanger this umbrella would have been blown inside out. Maybe there is shelter provided by the mountains in Bergen.

Thank you, Amelia! Inb October the weather was fine but the visits before that we had typical Bergen weather;-) I haven't experienced any extreme wind in Bergen, I think it's more sheltered inside the fjord and with mountains all around. Stavanger is much more exposed.
