Diamond Jubilee Window

Happy and smiling fence Friday, Gudrun. I am not sure that this is a good likeness of the Queen, but the floral Victoria sandwich cake on the shelf almost looks good enough to eat.

And now Queen Elizabeth II, the world's longest reigning sovereign, set a new record on Monday as the first British monarch to reach her sapphire jubilee, with 65 years on the throne.

Yes, I felt quite emotional when I saw this fence, I had to stand up. I hope she will stop this silly idea of the UK leaving Europe. Only she has the power and respect to do it. God save and protect her! HFF!

Ich weiß das weil....
In selbigem Ort hatte ich einmal einen Auffahrunfall, weil ein Bremszylinder des Vordserrades versagt hat, Bremsflüssigkeit auslief und zum Schluss auf abschüssigem Hang kein Bremsen mehr möglich war. Ich war gerade erst eineinhalb Stunden auf Englands Straßen unterwegs. :-( :-)

Weil es nur drei mit "Royal" geedelte Städte gibt, wobei ich später in Wootton Basset einmal wohnen durfte, als Betreuer von netten "Pubertierenden".

Interessant ist die Geschichte um die Veredelung dieser kleinen Stadt.

Was für'n "Spass" so gleich nach Ankunft auf der Insel:-( Von Wootton Bassett habe ich schon gehört, als "Schülerbändiger" war's sicher eher anstrengend dort.

Die Puppe rechts schaut "not amused" .... wie auch sonst, nach dem aktuellsten Brexit-Stand.
