Newport: Crown House, Bridge End 2012-09-09
From SW. Late C16 or early C17 timber framed house with late C17 pargetted plasterwork dated 1692 above the door. According to the Newport history trail published by Newport Local History Group (2006), it was formerly an inn called the King's Head, being renamed the Crown Inn in 1692.
