And to think, I almost didn't do my photo challenge today! Around dinner time I realized I hadn't had my camera out all day, and thought I'd just skip my photo of the day. A short while later I noticed some amazing colors to the west and decided to chase the sunset. I'm glad I did.

Your sudden decision to chase the sunset certainly paid off! My success rate in spotting a potential sunset along the coast or over the sea is no more than 50%. Often when I get down there (about 15 minutes from home) the sun has disappeared behind a bank of cloud! I am glad it worked out well for you.
