If the outcome is what matters, revolution always eats its children. Just like with any mission: sell everyone a cell phone and you are out of business if you do not design them a new one. (It doesn't have to be a better one, different colour will do.) Or in case of running shoes, design them so that they last only a month.

If the result is not the thing but the process is, do a counterrevolution. :-)

Nah... I'm done with both revos and counterrevos. They're both a mug's game. ;-)

PS. Synchronicity's a funny old thing, though. I had just finished uploading this when there was, in the background, that episode of Cross Talk on RT where the theme was the US engineered Kiev "revolution" which is, as we speak (so to speak) eating its children one by one. Ha! :-) × 3
