There you are Marie-claire a Simnel Cake a traditional Easter cake the eleven marzipan balls represent the disciples only 11 for obvious reasons, it's a fruit cake it should be cooked with a layer of marzipan in the centre I don't do that, it has of course been browned under the grill.
