I would suggest that the initial drop was due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but the post 2022 losses have been at least partially due to the increases in the cost of living with a lack of spare cash / time for entertainment [also the desire to build up a "rainy day" fund]. Plus a change in habits "Lets go clubbing" just isn't as popular as it used to be among the 20somethings ...
[I used to work for a company that designed nightclubs and the economic crash in 2008 really damaged the nightclub sector in the UK, also covid lockdowns, despite furlough schemes, broke a lot of the nightlife in many cities]
