Some of this peak was due to weather events - some of which were probably related to climate change - but, to me at least, the more significant factor was uncertainty generated by ru55ia's aggression and invasion of Ukraine [such as the export blockade and outright theft of grain and other items] and the economic sanctions that followed.

Assuming that wholesale prices have reduced in reality, it would seem that *some* supermarkets are still using high prices as an excuse, and thus making yet more profit ...
