Personally, my mitigations include the following - I planted over 200 trees and shrubs when rebuilding my garden and establishing a small patch of "wildwood" a couple of decades ago, which now contributes to household heating in place of LPG. I have greatly reduced the amount of travel, especially by car, in recent years. Also, I have made some modifications to my diet, reducing the proportion of "high carbon" foods.
