HFF Prince's Dock Liverpool 21st February 2019
The Prince's Dock footbridge on the riverfront of the Mersey in central Liverpool.
The dock was named for the Prince Regent. Still unfinished, it opened on the day of the Prince Regent's coronation as George IV in July 1821. Ferry services from Prince's Dock finally ended in November 1981 when P&O Ferries closed their Liverpool - Belfast overnight service. The dock subsequently closed to shipping and was partly filled and since 2007 has been redeveloped with office blocks, a hotel and flats plus this bridge.
HFF to everyone. Have a great weekend!
