The Falls of Dochard, Killin

The river Dochard looks almost at its best running through the large village of Killin. In this photo the water flow is quite docile but it was to get far rougher over the next few days. Our holiday cottage is hidden just behind the trees on the right

Yes it was easy to slip on some of the wet stone and I did so at least once but the camera was saved!

Such a dramatic and beautiful landscape Herb.........the river is very impressive with the fast flowing water and the huge amount of rocks. The light reflected on the water is very nice indeed.

It was hard not to get great shots of these rapids/falls. Harder was not to get tourist taking selfies in the same shot. A wonderful location that I could give you details about on request :)

I almost did David. Some slippery rocks here. A few days later after heavy rains I discovered a dead sheep trapped beneath one of the bigger rocks
