I think these benches are of the traditional variety. I have seen similar In the Scottish Railway Museum in Bo'ness. A nice and seemingly quite warm day for train spotting.

Thanks - the road is in formerly a 'railway' area,. sidings etc. now all gone,.so it probably relates to the Loco' style..-//.. for your interest it's ''Stanier way' Renishaw.. Cheers from Dj.
