Locos 48145, 4845? and 48159 on a ballast train at Limbri. The locos are at the location of the former station and about to enter the tunnel under the photographer. Heading North towards Armidale. Sometime in 1994.

Thanks Gillian. I had found this view a couple of months earlier when I investigated the possibility of putting a Train Radio base on the hill and providing a radiating cable so it would work in the tunnel too. That day was cloudy. This sunny day I saw this train go past our home and gave chase. I had to climb the hill on foot as my car wasn't suitable for the 'road'.

In the scrub to my left on a flatish area there is probably still a cyprus wood peg standing in the ground...
