Ironweed
Ironweed. I don't see this much here as it normally needs more dampness. That said.. I get occasional stems of it. I love the colour and this was catching shaded morning light.
Its a disaster year here. Literally.. no butterflies.... no bees.... nothing. Maybe they will still come
Artwork mine own
Artist At Work ...
Just another bit of fun created by me in the 'processing room' and which forms part of my ongoing, and somewhat tongue in cheek, Artist At Work series of images.
I can't remember what I did to create this one or even for that matter which of my photos I based it upon, but I like how it turned out!
Please view on black for best effect.
See It Move ...
Just another escapee from the 'processing room' although not as outlandish as the last one.
In fact, a simple exercise in mirroring, which at first glance I wouldn't have thought worthy of posting, but then I noticed it moving.
Please, someone tell me it isn't my imagination ... view it large on black, look at it for a couple of minutes and then tell me you don't see it starting to move!

Straight lines. - Sunday Challenge
This sunday challenge was a bit more difficult than I thought.... I walked out the door with my camera looking for straight lines, guess what....I could not find any. When I came back in the office I saw the dockets/workorders on the shelf and noticed these 9x12 catalogue envelopes showing straight lines..... at an angle and straight.

TSC - The Sunday Challenge 16.07.17 "Tilt-Shift"

This technique of photo processing I have never applied before, but I've read something about it and found a corresponding filter in Photoshop Elements. Unfortunately, it is only possible to select horizontally and vertically linear areas, which I found in my current recordings for this topic not satisfactory. Therefore, in the above picture "Windows" I manually selected the windows to be highlighted and the background is soft.
With an archive picture (not yet published) the editing worked better with Photoshop Elements, I found ...:
