Garden flowers 1

Needed a change of colour in my photostream after so much orange recently! The only wildflowers I'm finding at the moment are Prairie Crocuses, so I went to Safeway:) Like lots of other Flickr members, I can never resist taking photos looking deep into the centre of the flowers. Thanks for your patience!

I like the crinkly look of Squash flowers and their brilliant colour. Only just noticed the wasp in the top right corner.

And thank you, Safeway! These tulips are a fairly pale mauve, so the colour certainly changed in camera.

The white edges of these tulips unfortunately gives a rather "blown-out" look.

These Tulips were just beginning to unfurl today. Such a nice mix of colours. They should be really pretty when they are more fully opened.

Bought a small bunch of red Gerbera Daisies recently, to make a change from Tulips! I'm finding that red flowers are difficult to photograph and I have no idea how to change that. Will have to keep trying. This was the only half-decent photo I've ended up with.
