A short while ago, I posted a photo taken at the same time as this one, but in portrait format. At the time, I couldn't make up my mind which one I liked better, and now I've decided to post this second one. Taken on 10 August 2013 at Bow Lake, Banff National Park, Alberta. I'll post the vertical version in a comment box below. Which do you prefer? By the way, the beautiful pinky purple flowers in the foreground are called River Beauty.

How lucky we were that day, which started off with dense, low cloud covering the mountains, but brightening up to blue sky and sunshine for part of the day. It was calm and so we could gaze in awe at the amazing reflections (seen in some of my other photos from that day).

Magnificent view Anne ... rugged and towering mountains and a beautiful glacier too ... I really like the forefront scenery too ... well taken and very nicely presented!!
