Entrance to the tipi

Tipis were originally made of animal skins or birch bark, but modern ones are made of canvas. Each tipi has a different design in it and the the entrance way is closed with an individually designed flap closure. This one is quite a fancy one. Taken on 11 July 2013 at the Indian Village at the Stampede Grounds in Calgary, during the 10 days of Stampede.
