A coating of frost
Another shot from our walk along the inlet at Frank Lake (south of Calgary) during the annual High River Christmas Bird Count on 18 December 2012. My small group covered the SE quadrant of the huge Count circle, and Frank Lake was in our territory. As you can see, everything was covered in frost crystals.
