Little world of light

Gosh, it's taken me a year to post this image! Taken on the Banff/Canmore Christmas Bird Count (in the Rocky Mountains) last December. Yesterday, we walked for hours, recording any birds and wildlife that we saw for the 2010 Christmas Bird Count. This little Christmas bauble had been hung on a small tree near the river by someone last year. Yesterday, we walked past the same tree and there were a few different ornaments on it.

Was out all day today doing the Calgary Christmas Bird Count in a few north east communities. Then, in an hour's time, I'll be going over to someone's house where everyone gathers this evening to hand in their recordings for today and have a bit of supper. Tomorrrow, I will collapse, though I will have to start thinking about Christmas and try to get a few things done : )
