Horrified Soldier Boy

This tiny mushroom measures only about 1/4" tall, and it wasn't until I saw the pictures on my computer that I noticed that he has a face!!* He seems to be terrified of me, but I guess I'd be scared too, if a giant leaned down with a black thing and made strange cooing noises at me!

This picture is from the set I took the other day and as I predicted, I have dozens to share! I'm so happy that my experiments with high ISO in low light have worked out so well. It means I can get still get nice pictures without a flash, even with ISO over 1000! :)

* I didn't add anything to make that face!! The only thing I did was use a filter that brings in a bit of detail.
