Needle-Leaved Navarretia: The 156th Flower of Spring & Summer!
2 more pictures above in notes!
I know it's Autumn but I've still got lots of pictures of the flowers I found in Spring & Summer! As it is, I don't know if I'll get to the end of them by January! :D I'm doing my best though, and I hope you're still enjoying the show! :)
Needle-Leaved Navarretia are well-named, as their leaves all end in sharp points! These tiny plants grow low to the ground in a round shape, producing beautiful, prickly bouquets of lovely 1/4" white blossoms topped by sparkling white stamens. They are native to southern Oregon and northern California and grow in dry, open habitats.
If you would like to know more about this flower, I found a very nice page that shows pictures of many species of Navarretia that grow specifically in California, but many also grow in Oregon: Calflora: Navarretia . Wiki has a general species listing here" Wiki: Navarretia

I thought it was a 'close-up' of fairy lights on a Christmas tree ;-)
