Rain and Snow

Apparently I have nothing for this week's Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "BALLOONS" - so I'm posting one for the monthly theme of COLD RAIN AND SNOW.

Too much of a working class neighborhood? No balloons at my age then at parties? No clue, but I vaguely remember seeing helium balloons once I'd moved to Vermont and being enchanted - my only exposure I believe had been The Red Balloon!
Weird, isn't it?
As far as "Cold Rain and Snow" one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE covers is the Molly Tuttle Band performing it at Bristol Radio Station, Tennessee. It's absolutely perfect.
I'm paranoid to post the link because of copyright with Ipernity - but hope you'll seek it out on youtube as it's SO good!
The best!

Ok, no more whining west coast girl! We're going on to 16 inches of snow, it's 12 degrees, snowing steadily with 15 mile an hour winds.
And in Minnesota (as my friend used to often tell me), they'd say "Luxury!!" to that forecast!
