Ha! Muskrat Love, weirdest song ever! I won't be rude and say worst song. ;)
This really is a fantastic image, though.

You might not believe it , but I've never heard that song before! (Just saw it on Youtube.) I guess I wasn't listening to the radio then, although I do remember that Do It To Me One More Time song.
I did however know ABOUT the song Muskrat Love, because it's featured in one of my favorite funny books ever. "Dave Barry's Book of Bad Songs" Fall on the floor funny. Read it if you get the chance, friends.

I don't know if you've heard the story but back when Ronnie Reagan was president, Queen Elizabeth visited the White House for a state dinner. After-dinner entertainment was provided by The Captain and Tennille, who sang "Muskrat Love" among other hits. Some felt it was in poor taste.

On the youtube videothat i watched, Tennille introduced the song as "always reminding her of Henry Kissinger" because he was at that same dinner at the White House - and she imitated his sour faced reaction - which made my impression of her soar immeasurably!

Sorry, Deborah--didn't mean it to be that tough! But I really like your photo and caption! (And I agree that Dave Barry's Book of Bad Songs is worth tracking down.)
