This young woman has been seen before in my found "Michigan Album" - playing piano, hanging out on the porch, and posing with pistols and possums.
Here she is with her hunting dog and awesome knee high boots - just right for this week's theme!

Hi Christine - Thanks for your visit. I have been a vegetarian for over thirty-five years, so clearly hunting is something I would never participate in. For many families, though, then and now, hunting was/is a way to put food on the table - and so becomes part of the family and social culture. This photo is from a "found" album over one hundred years old and shows a family who hunted, but would have used all they killed - as opposed to the disgusting butchers who shot (for example) millions of buffalo and left them to rot on the plains.
