Georg Schmid (1833-1889); German bass.
In 1857 he made his debut at the “Hoftheater von Mannheim” where he was engaged until 1859. In the following years he was engaged at Frankfurt (1859/60), Karlsruhe (1860/64), Bremen (1866/65), Mainz (1865/66), Nürnberg (1867/74), Hamburg (1874/76) and again at Nürnberg (1876/88).
