Zawoja

Zawoja
Zawoja is situated in Sucha County, Southern Poland. Having 6,200 inhabitants it is one of the largest Polish villages. It is also one of the longest as it stretches for about 20 kilometres in a picturesque mountain valley. It lies close to the mountain massif of Babia Góra (1725 m).

it is stretching it a bit to call it a village, when it is 20 km long! I would have thought it is more of a region ;-)
Nevertheless, an excellent photo Alan.

The Poles probably have a different idea of a 'village' to us. 20km does seem a little excessive!
