People have given me orchids. I have a hard time keeping them alive, and harder time getting them to bloom after the initial ones they arrive with fade. I do have two still now. One might have a new blossom shoot coming up.

Sadly, I have no tricks for orchids. So far I've never gotten one to re-bloom after the flowers had fallen off. This one so far has lasted more than a month. It's away from the harsh cold of the window and direct sunlight.
