In der Mitte ein lateinischer Schiftzug „Praga mater urbanum“ [Prag die Mutter der Städte]. ***** Since today's travelers are funneled through a departure hall dating back to the 197os, many visitors never even see the original station building, which was designed in the Art Nouveau style by architect Josef Fanta between 190o1 and 19o9.
