It's a starly, yes? Great photo of it. There's a wonderful book called 'Mozart's Starling' if you have any interest in either Mozart or Starlings.

I just took a look at the excerpt published on Wiki, which includes a recording of a melody Mozart supposedly taught his star. According to the note, however, the star was probably an idiosyncratic interpreter. ;))
The excerpt of the recording sounds more harmonious in the corrected edition. :))

I didn't know the book had a Wiki page! I played the tune on my piano when I read the book. The book is like a story but also history. I found it quite fun to read, and even though I first read it from a library copy, I bought myself the book later. I've never done that before!

Starlings are really very attractive birds and you have captured this one beautifully * ઇଓ * . We used to get them at our feeders but they never came along - they brought the extended family and they were so noisy. They also bathed in our little water feature soaking everything in sight. Attractive colours and fun to watch. I love the starling against the pretty blue sky with the colours in the small leaves.
