By the way, your doubts about their effectiveness may be justified. However, this photo isn't thematically about the efficiency of such filters, but about the visual abstraction of a well-known quote that is alluded to in the title and image.

I don't hope so, as I've tried to the best of my ability to make this abstraction as unattractive and unobtrusive as possible. ;)

However, I've learned that the greed of many people and institutions knows no bounds, even with pictures like mine.

I periodically enjoy the pareidolias on ipernity, especially when I'm feeling down ;-)
This double smiley suits me perfectly and confirms, in my eyes, that the body of engineers (to which I belonged) lack - or redouble - humour during its design work...
The demonic precision of your capture makes it all the more compelling!

I appreciate your perspective, Eric, but if precision were a demonic concept, it would undoubtedly enjoy a much greater degree of popularity. ;)
