The 'Moss valley' South Sheffield.

Did I ever tell you that my mum was born in Dore not far from here. Was in Derbyshire then ... I think boundary changes put it in Yorkshire (or was it the other way round?). Anyway a very fine shot, Dave!

Yes, it was so.
My great grandfather owned HHB Sugg (probably just as well as seeing that was his name!) the sports retailers and he made enough of the folding-stuff (or wonga, if you prefer), to be able to better himself and move first to Dore and then later to Bakewell. We're talking 1920s and 30s here but I fondly recall getting his take on all sorts of things, especially cricket, which runs in the family (he died at a great age when I was 20, so I do vividly recall his very interesting views).

A wonderful landscape captured in beautiful diffused light...........I love the early signs of autumnal colours coming through amongst the trees. Be good to go back in a week or so for another shot David.
