Lea Garofalo was a courageous woman who rebelled against her criminal family to offer a different future to her daughter. By becoming a justice witness, she was kidnapped, killed, and burned by her former partner and his accomplices in Milan in 2009, becoming a symbol of the anti-mafia struggle and of gender-based violence.

Eine mutige Frau, welche ihr Leben gegeben hat um die 'Ndrangheta zu vernichten. Leider ist diese Organisation wie eine Hydra. Allein in Deutschland soll es in 60 Orten Gruppierungen dieser Organisation geben. In einer Nachbarstadt wurde eine Eisdiele als Zentrale inspiziert, die italienischen Besitzer verhaftet und nach einem längeren Prozeß wegen mangelnder Beweise dann doch freigesprochen
Sehr ansprechend ist deine Hommage für diese tapfere Frau, liebe Adele.
