The Sun Inn is a lively locals pub and boasts one of Frome’s largest courtyard gardens. It is well known for its real ales, cold filter beers and traditional ‘rough’ Somerset ciders and an unusual alternative entrance!

Thank you very much for your generous comments Eric. I agree, it is hard to imagine a large courtyard, but it is ;-)) Strangely enough, I have never seen cars on this road, so maybe that is what the yellow lines are for!!

Thank you very much George. Thankfully Frome has retained its old style pubs. The only addition is live music, which is not to everyone's taste!

An fabulous photo of this very interesting looking pub! I like how they built it with a rounded corner:-) The inclusion of the pedestrian adds a sense of scale. The alternative entrance is quite something!
