The Sun Inn ~ Frome

The Sun Inn ~ Frome
The Sun Inn is a lively locals pub and boasts one of Frome’s largest courtyard gardens. It is well known for its real ales, cold filter beers and traditional ‘rough’ Somerset ciders and an unusual alternative entrance!

I missed out two words it is supposed to be street name plate a lot of councils use more decorative ones in more special areas. There is a 'tardis' style Police Box in Newtown Linford it's Grade 2 listed and still used by the police

The strange thing is that it has never been the High Street, so not sure why that street sign is there. The old high street in Frome is now called Gentle Street, which I will show a few pictures of next week. I have seen a mobile toilet like the tardis with Dr Loo written on it!

This "pub around the corner" has a striking charm and originality! Your panoramic view is very good and puts it into perspective nicely. Hard to imagine its large courtyard!
It's wise to have drawn these lines on the floor to guide tipsy customers home! :-)
Have a great weekend, Rosa.

It looks like an interesting pub and it sounds like a good assortment of beers, Rosa. Two very good and "English" images.
