Hi Herb, yes it is very difficult to see as it is so far in the background in the lefthand upper quadrant, there is an aluminum upright visible when the image is fully enlarged :) The other thing is the wall on the bridge, not sure that a wall counts ~~~ Hanwe

It's really interesting to see how this small waterfall abruptly ends in the river. HFF Nick.

Thank you Christa, the water flows from the canal under the bridge and tumbles away via the weir to the river Colne which runs adjacent the canal and at times through it~ Hanwe

I cannot remember this on Pan, but I'm sure Peter is right. A lovely corner of the canal, with the weirs, and someone on the bridge thinks so too.

Hi dear LGM ~ It is a fairly safe bet that it was I think ~ It is raining here too ~ sorry to read that the flood barriers at going up again in Shrewsbury. A red kite has just dived into next door's garden ~ it doesn't seem to mind the weather. They are everywhere around Buckinghamshire these days ~ Keep building your Ark and fire station who knows what calamity will arrive next
