Hi dear LGM ~ No I have never been on or in the London Eye, I hate queuing. I've seen London from the top of the shard and have flown over London on numerous occasions which is always fun .
So I'll leave the eye for others to enjoy.. It is very photogenic. You must have been tempted when nearby so often. Thanks for your good wishes. This is the first time I have successfully put this in the group ( I think)

That is a terrific London view Nick and it is even better on full screen. So much to see on both sides and that beautiful bridge between them. I also like the angle made by the footbridge in the foreground and the contrail.
