Billingford Windmill

You know, Peter - with the thistle, the yellowed, dried out grass and the oak trees, this could ALMOST be a shot from Spain in the summer. I say almost for one very obvious reason!

I am pleased you found it interesting.
I believe that the Dutch mills were mostly built for pumping water, while ours were built to grind wheat, corn, etc. So different styles.
As for the thistle, I wanted something a little extra!
